Allenby Station, Tel Aviv

The planned Tel Aviv light-rail and its stations represent a springboard for urban renewal. The Allenby Station area has been identified as one of a number of compounds, slated for potential development along the Red Line of the light rail.
The goal of this project was to identify solutions that would fully realize the area’s potential. Changes in traffic patterns would free up a sizeable area for development. A steady stream of pedestrian traffic would flow to and from the light rail station and the allotted area would be multi-functional, blending the trendy atmosphere of fashionable Gan Hahashmal with the more formal and bourgeoisie atmosphere of Rothschild Blvd.
