Nahal Grar Park
A man-made forest along Nahal (stream) Grar has served for decades as a place of leisure and recreation, in most part for the residents of the northern Negev. The masterplan for the park seeks to go outside the boundaries of the forest and open up the entire area of the park to the visitor. A loess ravine, cliffs, carpets of flowers in bloom, and archeological finds, all these can be found along the segment of flowing water of Nahal Grar. The plan for the park is based on the study of its natural habitats and existing uses of agriculture and recreation, and therefore creates a park for a variety of visitors and experiences, well-connected to its wider environment.
