LAGO Events Hall
Design Award Winner, 2016
This unique event hall overlooks the man-made lake in the south-western part of Rishon Lezion. It was designed as an illuminated glass cube and contains two halls. The open space that surrounds the building is like a “tray” on which the event halls sits. The outdoor is a concrete surface, carved with terrazzo strips and reflection pools. On the sides of the hall there is a long green wall of succulents and a pergola with vines, taking advantage of the vertical dimension and creating a green façade. Giant flower pots on wheels can be moved around and changed in position. The entire space is a platform, allowing for a unique and flexible design for any occasion.
