Holon Theater Square
An old theater building received a new, festive façade, which opens up into a square on the main street of Holon. The new square ties together the two levels of the theater and creates a multi-purpose space for various outdoor events. The square opens up to the theater and to the memorial , designed by Yitzhak Danziger as an interior sculpture and is now placed outside the building. The design “wraps” all of the elements in a pattern of continuous ribbon-like strips that bring the square together– terraced grounds, plazas and lawns, unique seating and lighting elements.
