Eshkol Park, Dimona
The old public space of Dimona, which includes a cluster of public and community buildings in the heart of the city, was designed around a central garden - a green and active heart. Over the years, the garden was damaged by countless interventions, as a result its function was damaged and its glow dimmed.
The renovation of the complex was done out of respect for its values - including the old trees, the monument to the citizens of the city and the sense of space that was preserved in it. An effort was made to connect the peripheral streets and all public buildings to the open space - the municipality, the municipal library, Beit Yad Labanim and more. The new development unites the space through a fresh and up-to-date intervention. The new program, which includes a gathering area, a central stage, play facilities and parking, is integrated into a complete and clear design array.
